Rule Change

So, if you have played in the league before, you know the rule is that each year the team will start with their returning players and we do a blind draw with all the other players that are new to the league that spring. Well, the board just passed a new rule that allows new fall players that play for a head coach in the fall to stay with that coach if he/she is coaching in the same league for the following spring.

We are excited about this rule change as it allows players to stay with teammates and coaches they played with the previous fall.

We looked at a few other similar rules such as allowing players/families to choose coaches but that would cause too many issues for the spring season that would result in "loaded" teams.
