2026 Lyndon Football

Lyndon Lightning Football is associated with the Lyndon Recreation Association, a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Lyndon Recreation has been serving the community for over 40 years. Originating in a school backyard, Lyndon Recreation has grown to accommodate over 2500 participants in baseball, softball, and our football programs.

The Lyndon Lightning Football Program was founded and established by coaches and parents who want to see the community unified in supporting youth development in athletics and leadership. We believe that competitive sports provide discipline, structure, and great opportunities to instill respect and leadership qualities in our youth. Based in East Louisville, anyone can join our program and play on our teams. We are open to all youth between the ages of 5-14.

Our young athletes enjoy sports on teams with their peer groups based on age, which promotes safety and solid development in sports. Our philosophy is supported by the National Football League and USA Football.

Our commitment to our parents is to maintain a safe, quality program. We do this through constant communication with parents/guardians and our community members, as well as elected officials. We believe engaging parents promote their involvement and increase the success of our participants.

Effective the 2023 season, the fundraising obligation of $50.00 is included in the initial registration fee.
